Job Context

Medical Support Staff (Ward Boy/Aya) For ICU, NICU ,GENERAL WARD ,CABIN, OT

Job Responsibilities

• The incumbent will be responsible for the hygiene and comfort of patients admitted in the hospital wards ,cabin , IPD and OPD
• Accompany patients to the relevant ward/treatment sector once their treatment has been prescribed at the outpatient department or admitted as inpatient.
• Transport patients incapable of walking: from the ambulance to the triage; from triage to the treatment unit, using stretcher or wheel chair.
• Assist the patient to settle in the hospital (arranging chair or bed, blanket, cup, etc.).
• Explain to the patient where the latrines, showers, hand-washing points are.
• Alert the nurse in the event of a problem faced by the patient.
• assist the patient to go to toilet, taking bath and washing.
• Collect and transport dirty laundry (patients’/attendants’ clothes and hospital linen) to the laundry.
• Collect clean clothes and returns them to the patients/attendants.
• Sorts and discards medical waste in his/her unit into the appropriate containers.
• Perform such other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Hospital, Hospital and clinic
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Hospital

Additional Requirements

• Age 20 to 35 years
• Only males are allowed to apply
• Minimum two years of relevant experience of working in any private or public hospital
