The Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance is accountable for managing all aspects of accounting operations and provident fund management within the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and administering the provident fund scheme.
Job Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommendations for cost reduction and process optimization.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and identify any financial risks or irregularities.
Oversee the administration of the provident fund scheme, including employee contributions, withdrawals, and claims processing.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations related to provident fund contributions, including timely filings, notifications, and record maintenance.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and facilitate financial audits.
Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, assisting with complex transactions, problem-solving, and resolving accounting discrepancies.
Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, and implement necessary adjustments to accounting processes and procedures.
Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing input and analysis to support decision-making.
Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Educational Requirements
M.Com/ MBA Major in Accounting/ Finance from a reputed university and CA (Course Completed is preferred, partly qualified can also apply)
Experience Requirements
7 to 8 year(s)
Additional Requirements
7-8 years’ relevant work experience in the Accounts department or similar field
Must have experience in provident fund administration, including knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.
Should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and statutory requirements.
Having prior RMG industry experience will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
Strong presentation and delivery skills
Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
IT proficiency – advanced level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
